"You must wash each other's feet"

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Rather than the traditional Top-Down Hierarchy, which can be found in most Churches,

We prefer to choose the model of "One Among Equals" or a Circular Organisational Structure.

Which means that instead of a single chain of command, from top to bottom,

Our leaders choose a place of Service at the Centre, promoting communication and collaboration

between all levels of the Church. A Positive Structure which encourages all our members,

ordained and non-ordained, to share in the Ministry and Service of each other outwardly,

creating a more inclusive and engaged Body of Faith.

All are EQUAL at The Lord's Table. Each person comes to the Assembly

with their individual Gifts from God. No One is Greater than Any Other.

As a Church, we strongly oppose any form of Patriarchy, Misogyny, Racism or Homophobia.

We believe that ALL people are created in the Image and Likeness of God

and are therefore worthy of Love, Respect and Dignity.

Therefore our Deacons, Priests, and Bishops do not claim a preferential place among the Believers. They are each "One Among Others"
