It is with great joy that, after a period of prayer and reflection, our brother Rev. Mario Santos,

who is Co-Founder of Catholic Episcopal Church, has applied to become part of our little church once more, and has been appointed Presiding Bishop of England and Wales

Born in Spain, Mario has served as a Priest and Bishop in England for a number of years.

He is currently based in Doncaster and is a member of

Franciscanos de la Esperanza

(Franciscans of Hope)

The Second Joyous Announcement is the Ordination of our Scottsh Ordinand, James Mc Cann.

His Ordination to Priesthood will take place in Kevin's Oratory,

Solas Antoin, Lettermacaward, Co. Donegal on Saturday June 20th, 2026

James had a long career teaching in Roman Catholic schools

in Glasgow and his home town Livingston, West Lothian, where he hopes to establish a small Oratory..

As Presiding Bishop of Scotland and Ireland,

Bishop Seamus will preside over the ceremony

in Solas Antoin (Anthony's Light), the home of

The Community of Anthony.

We welcome both our brothers and celebrate the growth of Catholic Episcopal Church

in Scotland, England and Wales
